I was born in South Carolina and was raised up and down the east coast while my dad was in the Navy.  When he retired, we moved to Oregon and I spent the rest of my childhood in Carlton, a little town outside of McMinnville.  I am the third oldest of a family of seven so life didn't have many dull moments!
I graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science.  I was planning on going into the physical therapy realm but decided public service was more my style, so I joined the Oregon State Police in 2006.  I have been a road Trooper in the Salem area, a detective in the major crimes section, and served on the dignitary protection unit, responsible for protecting the Oregon Governor.
I am married to Christina Skipper, and have two great kiddos, Rory (11) and Cora (7). We currently live in Wilsonville and love it there. When I'm not working, in the winter it's time for snowboarding, and in the summer I like to wakeboard and wakesurf. We also like to get out in our travel trailer and go "glamping" throughout Oregon.
I started Skipper Realty Group to continue in a field I have been interested in my whole adult life.  My in-laws are real estate brokers and I always respected and admired how they catered their business with a "client first" mentality.  In a field where the buying and selling process can seem overwhelming and new to most people, they have thrived by giving them a positive experience in which the client feels confident leaving one of their biggest investments in their hands.  It's what I would like to continue to do with my business.
I have bought and sold numerous homes personally and am a home investor as well, and I would love to help you with your next purchase or sale. Whether it's your first time buying a home, or you're looking to dive into an investment property, give me a call or shoot me a text and we can talk about how to get that going!
