About me

I was born in South Carolina and spent much of my childhood moving up and down the East Coast as part of a Navy family. After my dad retired from the service, we settled in Oregon, where I finished growing up in Carlton, just outside of McMinnville. As the third oldest in a family of seven, life was busy, energetic, and never boring — something that shaped my ability to adapt quickly and connect easily with people.

I graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. While I initially planned to pursue physical therapy, I realized early on that public service and working directly with people was where I felt most fulfilled. That path led me to the Oregon State Police, where I began my career in 2006.

​

During my time with the Oregon State Police, I served in several roles — including as a road trooper in the Salem area, a detective in Major Crimes, and a member of the dignitary protection unit responsible for protecting the Governor of Oregon. That experience shaped how I approach my work today: with preparation, clear communication, accountability, and a calm presence during high-pressure situations.

Outside of work, I’m married to my wife Christina, and together we have two kids, Rory and Cora. We live in Wilsonville, a community we truly love and are proud to call home. When I’m not working, winters are spent snowboarding, summers are for wakeboarding and wakesurfing, and whenever we can, our family enjoys getting out around Oregon in our travel trailer for a little “glamping.”

I started Skipper Realty Group to build a business rooted in trust, preparation, and a true client-first mindset. Real estate has been an interest of mine for most of my adult life, and my in-laws — both longtime real estate brokers — had a major influence on how I view the profession. I admired how they built their business around relationships, education, and making sure clients felt confident placing one of their biggest investments in capable hands.

That philosophy continues to guide my work today. Buying or selling a home can feel overwhelming, especially without clear guidance. My goal is to simplify the process, provide honest insight, and make sure clients feel informed and supported at every step — not pressured.

In addition to helping clients buy and sell homes, I’ve also bought and sold multiple properties personally and am active as a real estate investor.
